With a unique Indian Bhangra-infested, Bo Diddley Rock ’n’ Roll dance groove, Ajay has fused typical rock instruments with unlikely sounds including mouth harp and Indian Tablas along with blues harp and Cajon accordion on this infectious song. ‘Forget About Yesterday’ is going to put a smile on your face, have your feet tapping to its lively beat and give you a remedy to get past those days that seem to drag on like a sticky shoe. ‘Forget About Yesterday’ is the first single/video release from Ajay Mathur’s upcoming album ‘Little Boat’, due to be released on March 2, 2018. ‘Little Boat’ follows on his previously released ‘A Matter of Time' (2011), 'Come See Conquer' (2013) and the highly successful '9 to 3' (2015) that earned him a Grammy nomination in 2016. All of the albums have enjoyed excellent reviews and acknowledgements in the international media. They have maintained top chart rankings on U.S. Top 50 Rock, U.S. Top 80 Independent, U.S. Top 50 AC and Americana (AMA) airplay charts as well as a continuous 104-week ranking on the European Indie Music chart. Award-winning singles from the albums include 'Communicate' which was a finalist in the 2011 Show Me the Music songwriting contest and 'Easy' as a finalist in the 2012 Unsigned Only Songwriting Competition.
